安尚秀 Ahn Sang-Soo

Sang Soo Ahn Sang Soo completed his education in 1981 at the Hong-Ik University in Seoul, obtaining BFA and Master of Fine Arts Degree. He also received Ph.D. at Hanyang University in Seoul in 1996 and Honorary Doctor of Design in Kingston University in 2001. After college, Ahn worked for an advertising agency for five years. From 1981 to 1985 he worked as an art director for Madang magazine and Mot magazine. He subsequently was president of Ahn Graphics Ltd. for six years. He is also publisher of the underground art-culture magazine Report/Report (1988-present). In 1991 he was offered a professorship in typography and editorial design at Hong-Ik University, his alma mater. Ahn is vice-president 1997-2001 of ICOGRADA.
1952年出生。<BR>1970—1977年弘益大学校美术大学视觉设计系。<BR>1979—1981年弘益大学校大学院字体专业美术学硕。1988—1995年汉阳大学校大学院理学博士（应用美术学专业）。
经历：1970—1973年弘大新闻社学生记者，学生主编辑。<BR>1977—1978年金星社设计研究室设计研究员。1978—1981年喜星产业（现广告代行社LGAD）海外广告设计师。1981—1985年月刊《院子》、《气派》艺术指导。<BR>1985—1991年“安平面设计室”代表理事。1991年至现在，弘益大学校美术大学视觉设计系教授。
